We spent our first night in the new space last night, it was so nice to fall asleep to the crackle of the fire and the sound of the wind tapping at the roof. This morning I awoke to autumn showers and the sight of rain drops dripping from the eves and the ceder trees. It is a very simple space, completely open, so defining areas and dividing up the room has been a challenge.
Many more improvements to come. Like the sink...
but for now it is a a wonderful place to sew, sleep, sit by the fire and drink a cup of coffee.
I am so looking forward to a few days of quite.
